Why use me
for training?

As a trainer, I use a collaborative and supportive approach, but one that offers challenge to participant’s. I create experiences and provide stimuli that encourage participants to find their own answers and understand things in meaningful ways.

Some of my most recent bespoke trainings have been on Inclusive Management and Inclusive  Leadership. I have also delivered a train the trainer style programme on Inclusive Facilitation.

My primary focus for this year  has been Neuro-inclusion - this has ranged from delivering all-staff awareness building training to bespoke workshops for individual teams and then a large  training programme for managers on Neuro-Inclusive Management.

Training on Neuro-Inclusion

Why might this training benefit you?

If your organisation or team comes close to mirroring the general population, 15-20% of individuals will be neurodivergent. Whether or not these individuals have a formal diagnosis, they are constantly having to navigate environments and assumptions designed primarily for the 80% of people who are neurotypical.

For many neurodivergent individuals, the effort required to mask or adapt can be exhausting and often results in less efficient ways of working that don’t harness their strengths. By equipping a team to be more aware and empathetic to the different ways people think, everyone can use their energy better and do their best work. It also enables team members to work more effectively and better understand colleagues outside their immediate team.

Karen Suter, Head of  Individual Giving at Alzheimer's Society - "There were lots of lightbulb moments in the session.."

"Esme recently ran a really thought provoking workshop on exploring neurodiversity with my team.  She has such a calm, considered and inclusive approach and also co-created part of it with a member of the team who is neurodivergent.

There were lots of lightbulb moments in the session for all of us and the only complaint was that it wasn’t longer!  She catered for lots of different learning styles throughout and gave us some really practical things to consider going forward."

Carl Street, Head of Direct Engagement and Events at Oxfam -  "Esme's session shifted how I think about inclusion - practical, human and immediately applicable."

"I recently attended a neuro-inclusive management training workshop delivered by Esme, and it was one of the most insightful training sessions I've attended. She created a safe, engaging space and shared practical strategies that I've already started applying to my team. I'd highly recommend her to any organisation looking to build more inclusive leadership. Esme's session shifted how I think about inclusion - practical, human and immediately applicable."
